Super-Secret Origin!
Every year for 24 years running our local college radio station,
KVSC, plays a 50 hour trivia marathon. People from all over the state of Minnesota play the game -- and there are even people from different parts of the country!
This is our first year playing together as a team. Most of us have played for other teams in the past, such as the
Society for Creative Anarchism, What Would Scooby Doo, and Those Meddling Kids.
Many of us are scattered all over the place, and the two things that bind us together are love of the game and playing over the internet!
Some of the other teams we were on had a difficult time incorporating internet players into their game, so we decided to form our own team
Our goals this year are rather simple:
1. We want to have fun.
2. We want to play well, which means integrating our internet players with our local people.
3. We want to place in the top 20 (out of 70) teams.
4. We want to bring back the tradition of challenging other teams to do silly things!
There is still time to join us, if you want to play. If you can make it to St. Cloud, Minnesota, you can join us at team headquarters. If not, you can play via our chat room! KVSC does stream their programming, so you can play along even if you're not in the listening area. If you're running Windows, you'll need WinAmp or some other MP3 player. Check out
KVSC's site for details.
and you can Get Trivial!

We are looking for people to do all sorts of things from surfing for answers to questions, to keeping books, to just making sure that everything goes smoothly. If you have a silly idea for a song, a poem, a challenge -- whatever, just let me know.
We're going to play, and make it a good time!
